e are a private foundation, a social club registered with the Department of State in the State of New York as a 501 (c) (3) not for profit organization.

The first reunion was initiated by the founder Julet Marshall on the advice and support of her son Deric Marshall II, who had accompanied her on a trip to Brooklyn in October 2006. The purpose of that trip was to visit with Godfrey Hall. The reunion took place in her home in Queens Village, New York on February 19, 2007. Seven Alumni and friends attended, they were Clifton Crossdale (Barry), Janet Monroe (Clarke), Godfrey Hall, Gregory Campbell (Indie), DeCarlos Johnson, Deric Marshall II and Julet Marshall. Visiting by phone was Norma Archbald (Reid).

Later that year on August 16, 2007, a larger reunion took place and again in August 2008 a third reunion. Both were held at Geo’s West Indian Delight in Brooklyn, New York, the restaurant was owned by Godfrey Hall. Out of this third reunion was born ideas for a 50th birthday reunion. Although the birthday reunion failed, a fourth reunion of Alumni and friends took place in New City, New York on July 18, 2009. It took place under the banner "The Papine class of 77’ Association".

The name was later changed to the current one in order to support inclusiveness of friends and maintain the original vision of the founder which was not limited to the school but included surrounding communities as well.
